The thrill of winning has attracted viewers world-wide to an exciting new website, www.funnyphotoscontest.com. With filmstar Sacha Baron Cohen as an Honorary Judge of the caption contest, with cash prizes ranging from $10 to $500 for cute or funny photos, and with contestants driving traffic to the website to vote for their photos, it has become a popular and steadily growing presence on the web, since it’s inception in June, 2006. And on any given day, more than 50% of the visitors are new to the site.
AUDIENCE
Parents, pet owners, college and high school students, photographers, and grandparents from almost every state in the U.S. and from around the world have sent photos of their children and their pets, etc. to the website. And then with the desire to gain votes for their entries, to win the contest, they have driven traffic to the site from such websites as www.myspace.com, www.facebook.com, www.militarysos.com, www.care2.org, etc. The site has received hits and photos from Australia, Brazil, Egypt, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, Poland, Russia, South, Africa, Spain, etc.
